Native to Northern California, raised in Ukiah, now again, living in rare old redwood home near creek at the edge of woods. Spent much of childhood camping and hiking through redwood forest. Lived in Cresent Bay, Clearlake, with view of osprey, deer & my companion wolf, owned by neighbors. Hiked/painted Audubon Bird Sanctuary & Pomo artifact areas. Visits to Alaska and Yosemite parks, thousand lakes, inspired wildlife/nature paintings. Classes at Mendo Community College & Adult school. Injury brought courage to show works & find voice with art.
